about me
Dr. Emily Thoes, PT, DPT, CSCS
physical therapist & owner
I grew up in north Dallas and earned my Bachelor of Science from the University of Oklahoma in 2014, followed by a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Washington University in St. Louis in 2017.
My passion for sports and fitness led me to specialize in physical therapy, earning my certification as a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist and completing advanced coursework through Barbell Rehab. Driven to better support women with pelvic pain and dysfunction, I also pursued training in pelvic floor physical therapy and became a Certified Pregnancy & Postpartum Specialist.
I founded Training Health Physical Therapy to provide exceptional care for active individuals—especially those who may not reach their full potential in traditional PT settings due to limited equipment or one-size-fits-all treatment models. My approach prioritizes personalized attention, performance-based rehab, and a commitment to functional outcomes.
Above all, I value building strong, meaningful relationships with my patients. I’m here to guide you with accessible education, support, and the belief that you can—and should—train your health. I'm excited to be part of your recovery journey.
